About
The Doctor Behind the Work

Dr. Jill M. Palko is a board-certified OB/GYN (FACOG) with over 15 years of clinical experience. Growing up in a small town outside Chicago, she always knew she wanted to be a doctor. She earned her MD from Rush Medical College and completed her OB/GYN residency at MetroHealth Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where she conducted research on pelvic exam simulation for medical student education.

After practicing in Chicago, she eventually grew tired of the long winters and relocated to the sun-soaked shores of Southwest Florida. She currently serves as an Obstetric Hospitalist at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and works part-time at OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Chicago. With extensive experience in both academic and community settings, she has developed a keen eye for clinical detail and patient communication.

She now focuses on supplement, medication, and device review for healthcare and DTC brands, AI accuracy auditing for women’s health platforms (including hey2am.app), and providing medical advisory services for healthcare startups. As a Clinical Analytics Specialist for Elsevier Publishing, she brings data-driven rigor to every project. She is actively advising several women’s healthcare startups across the world. She maintains active medical licenses in Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, Indiana, and West Virginia.

When she’s not working, she’s an avid traveler who has explored destinations from Iceland to Thailand and Egypt. You can also find her trying new cuisines, diving into a captivating documentary, or loyally cheering on her favorite Chicago sports teams.
